Precinct Chairs
The Republican Precinct Chair is responsible for helping deliver Republican votes in his or her home precinct and also represents the precinct on the Dallas County Republican Party Executive Committee.
There can be only one Republican Precinct Chair in each precinct. The Precinct Chair is elected for a two-year term by the Primary Election voters of the precinct. However, where a precinct is vacant, the Executive Committee can appoint a Precinct Chair.
A Precinct Chair must live in the precinct in which he/she serves, and should be a Republican Primary voter or otherwise clearly aligned with the Republican Party.
To determine whether your precinct is vacant, please contact DCRP Headquarters at 214-369-9555.
