More good news from the Sheriff's Department. It seems that Team Valdez tested the new smoke alarm system in the jail last week, and it went, um, not well. Read more here.
So what does this mean to Dallas County taxpayers? It means that we may have to pay even more money to bring a jail up par that has not passed inspection during Valdez's 3 1/2 year administration.
