She Had Us at "Can I Call You Joe?"
October 3, 2008
Sarah Palin once again exhibited those traits that have made her so popular with Americans: plain-spoken, warm, and an outsider's perspective on domestic and foreign policy.
While Joe Biden looked tired in his witless attacks on President Bush, who, last I checked was not on the ballot in 2008, Governor Palin spoke directly to the people. At times, I forgot that Gwen Ifill and Joe Biden were even in the room. So did Sarah.
Senator McCain will need a better performance Tuesday night for him to catch Obama nationally. But, for now, the Palin Power movement will continue.
