Rodney Anderson has always believed in hard work, commitment to his family and to his community. He attended public schools, all within the GPISD. He attended the University of Texas at Arlington where he graduated in 1990 with a BBA in Real Estate. He is committed to public education and serving others, and he has volunteered countless hours to the Boy Scouts of America, PTA, the YMCA, the First Free Will Baptist Church, and Rotary International. Rodney is dedicated to serving the people of House District 105, and he is not a career politician. Having never been in politics before 2010, he made the decision to run for State Representative to truly make a difference and challenge a seemingly unbeatable incumbent in the State Legislature. With extremely hard work and applying solid business strategies to his campaign, he was first elected in November 2010 to the Texas House of Representatives.
