Election Clerk/Judge Training
Time: Saturday, May 14, 2022, 10 am to 1 pm
Place: DCRP Headquarters, 11617 N. Central Expressway, Suite 240, Dallas, TX 75243
Dallas County Republican Party is providing training this Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 10 am to 1 pm for people who want to begin serving as an election Clerk or Judge, or are considering to serve as a judge sometime in the future.
Attendees will learn how to complete voter paperwork, end of day reporting, a brief overview of the equipment including E-Poll Book, Ballot Marker and DS-200 tabulator and all the tasks required of the Judge including set up and closing of the voting site. The mystery of the Judge's desk will be revealed and a practical approach to running a voting location accurately and efficiently will be taught.
Attendees will learn to perform competently and with confidence as a judge BEFORE arriving to work at a voting site.
This class if for all interested parties, from first time poll workers to experienced poll workers to equip them with the information and knowledge to successfully operate a voting site, and to help them determine if they want to consider serving as a Judge in the future.
Judges who are already serving, but may still be struggling with some tasks, are encouraged tto attend and receive additional training specific to their needs.
THIS training does NOT replace the Dallas County Elections Department training, but puts the finishing polish on it!
