Laura Hill, former Mayor of Southlake, author, publisher and a recipient of numerous business and philanthropic awards, 4 term City Councilwoman and first woman Mayor of Southlake, Texas.  Laura is the co-owner of three successful companies, Downey Publishing, Glen Coe Enterprises and Texas Ice Cream.  Her passion for youth and their education motivated her to become the founder and co-founder of several youth-focused organizations which are geared toward empowering students to reach their full potential as they mature into next generation leaders.
