SUMMARY:Elections in November 2025 Elections: Early Voting: October 20-31 Election Day: Tuesday\, Nov 4
DESCRIPTION:Elections in November 2025 Elections:\nEarly Voting: October 20-31\nElection Day: Tuesday\, Nov 4 \nNovember 4\, 2025 – Constitutional Amendment\, Special and Joint Election:\nIn Texas\, a Constitutional Amendment Election is a type of election in which voters decide whether to approve proposed changes to the Texas Constitution. These amendments are typically proposed by the Texas Legislature during a regular or special legislative session. \nVoters in Texas can approve or reject each proposed amendment. The proposed amendments cover a wide range of topics\, including government operations\, taxes\, property rights\, and other legal matters. If approved\, the amendment becomes part of the Texas Constitution. \nIn addition to the statewide ballot\, many Cities and Independent School Districts (ISDs) will also hold their general and special elections jointly with Dallas County during this election. These local elections may include races for city council\, school board\, bond propositions\, and other local matters that will appear on the same ballot. \nClick here for a list of proposed constitutional amendments on the ballot:\nhttps://www.dallascountyvotes.org/election-results/historical/november-4-2025-constitutional-amendment-election/#props \nClick here for a list of local entities participating in the November 4th election:\nhttps://www.dallascountyvotes.org/election-results/historical/november-4-2025-constitutional-amendment-election/#entities \nClick here for a list of True Texas Project’s recommendations on many of these: \nElections \n \nTexans will vote on 17 Constitutional Amendments. Additionally\, some communities hold their local elections at this time\, and we have some special elections to fill vacant seats as well. Please read on to find True Texas Project’s recommendations on many of these. (If you are looking for the March 2026 Primary Election information\, keep scrolling down on TTP’s website.) \nElections \n \n“Note: At True Texas Project\, we ask our local leadership teams as well as other trusted resources to vet and make recommendations for elections. We are NOT telling you how to vote. It’s just a good place for you to start your own research. Many times\, we just frankly aren’t excited about any of the candidates\, but we all still have to pick one to mark on our ballots. We do our best to help you with those difficult decisions. With that in mind\, please note that our recommendations are just that: recommendations. They are NOT endorsements. Only when our leadership teams are unanimous in their belief that a candidate will represent True Texans well will we mark it as an endorsement.” \nAmendments \nTrue Texas Project Board discussed these at length! True Texas Project didn’t vote unanimously on many of them.\nPlease see True Texas Project’s explanations here: https://truetexasproject.com/constitutional-amendments-review-recommendations/ \nSUPPORT: 2\, 3\, 5\, 6\, 8\, 9\, 10\, 12\, 13\, 16\, 17\nOPPOSE: 1\, 4\, 7\, 11\, 14\, 15\nDownload a graphic to share on social media\, text\, or email: https://truetexasproject.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/2025amendments.png\nPrint a flyer with these recommendations: https://truetexasproject.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/2025amendments-for-print.pdf\nPrint a flyer with these recommendations 4 on a page: https://truetexasproject.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/print-amendments-4up-1.pdf \nLocal & Special Elections: \nDenton County: \nNorthwest ISD: NO on Prop A \nGalveston County Bonds: NO \nGrayson County Tax Proposal: NO \nHarris County: \nBaytown City Council: Laura Alvarado (District 1); Sarah Graham (District 2); Kenrick Griffith (District 3)\nBaytown Bonds: No\nUS Congress D18-TX: Carmen Maria Montiel\nCyFair ISD: Radele Walker (Pl 5); Scott Henry 5 votes OR Natalie Blasingame 2 votes (votes from our leadership team were split for this race\, Pl 6); George Edwards Jr. (Pl 7)\nHouston City Council: Sonia Rivera (Pl 4 Special Election)\nHouston Community College Board: Milton Sasser (District I)\nHouston ISD: Robbie McDonough (District V)\, Kendall Baker (District VI)\, Bridget Wade (District VII)\, No recommendations District I\nKlein ISD: Jack Velasquez (Pl 3)\, Justin Wooldridge (Pl 7)\n[share a graphic with Harris County + Amendment recommendations.] \nHood County: \nGranbury ISD: Monica Brown (Pl 5-endorsed); David Rogers (Pl 6-endorsed); Jessica Wark (Pl 7-endorsed)\nGranbury City Council: David Farris (Pl 2); Jim Jarratt (Mayor)\nGranbury Bond Elections: NO on both\n[share a graphic with Granbury local elections + Amendment recommendations.] \nMontgomery County:\nWoodlands Township Board of Directors: Shelley Sekula-Gibbs (Pl 5 unopposed); Adam Lamb (Pl 6); Cindy Heiser (Pl 7 unopposed)\nMagnolia ISD bonds: NO on all 3 \nRockwall County: NO on VATRE tax \nTarrant County: \nCarroll ISD: Mandy Reece (Pl 3 – endorsed)\nNorthwest ISD: NO on Prop A\nState Senate\, Dist 9: Leigh Wambsganss (endorsed)\n[share a graphic with Tarrant local elections + Amendment recommendations.] \nTravis County: \nSouthwest Travis County Props A-D: NO \nAnderson Mill Prop A: NO\nAustin Props A-E\, Q: NO\nBee Cave Props A & B: NO\nBurnet Props A & B: NO\nCoopland Prop A: NO\nCreedmoor Props A-F: NO\nFirefly Props A-G: NO\nHays Prop A: NO\nLeander City Council: Yelaun (Pl 3)\nNew Sweden Props A-G: NO\nPflugerville City Council: McCord (Mayor); Aly (Pl 1)\nWillbarger Creek Props A-E: NO \nWise County: \nNorthwest ISD: NO on Prop A \nLearn more: \nElections \n\njulie@truetexasproject.com\nTrue Texas Project is a 501(c)4 organization
