SUMMARY:Bring Clean Water to Sand Branch
DESCRIPTION:Sand Branch is a historic Freedmen’s settlement (freedom colony) in unincorporated Dallas County\, about 15–20 miles southeast of downtown Dallas near Seagoville. Founded in 1878\, it has never had municipal running water. Residents almost entirely depend on donated bottled water for drinking\, cooking\, and bathing. \nThe Dallas County Republican Party and South Dallas Candidates are stepping up to help: \n💧 Distribute weekly bottled water \n📝 Get residents registered to vote \nJoin us for a Bottled Water + Voter Registration Drive at the local church. \nWe need: \n•  Cases of bottled water donations \n•  Volunteers to register voters and hand out water \nHow to donate water: \n💧 Bring cases to the Sand Branch event on 8/15 or 8/22 (8–11 AM) \n💧 Or drop off directly at the Dallas County Republican Party Headquarters \nWe also need volunteers to help register voters and distribute water. \nCome stand with Sand Branch. DESCRIPTION:Not a typo. Our campaign is different. Inspired by Charlie Kirk\, we are setting up a table and chairs under a canopy next to the path around White Rock Lake to intercept the estimated 7\,000 visitors per day who walk the trail. Rendezvous at 4:00PM then proceed to the setup location. We have T-shirts for volunteers\, push cards\, campaign buttons\, free water\, yard signs and sign-up sheets.
