DESCRIPTION:Hello fellow Republicans\, this is an important update and your third notice for those of you credentialed to attend and vote at the the SD-16 convention this coming Saturday March 28th and also for the Republican Party of Texas State Convention in Houston in June. Please read this email thoroughly. A final email will be sent on Friday with the program likely attached and some additional information & appointments. \nYou can attend as a delegate or an alternate to the SD-16 convention\, only if you were selected as a delegate or alternate at your precinct convention. \nIf you would like to attend and you are not a delegate or an alternate\, you may attend as guest. You must be on the list of Delegates submitted at the precinct convention\, whether you attended in person or not\, to be a voting delegate at the Senate District 16 Convention. \nThe Senate District 16 convention for 2026 will be held this Saturday at the La Prada Church of Christ.  Check-in will start at 8am\, and the convention will likely last through most of the afternoon\, though we will try to finish as soon as we can. If you are not seated at the convention by the time that credentials is finished checking people in and seating delegates\, we won’t be able to credential you so you can vote. \nThe Agenda follows RPT Rules for Senate District conventions. We recommend that you print the RPT platform at home and bring it with you if you need it\, as there will be a limited number of copies available. \nThe 2026 Senate District 16 Convention \nDATE:  Saturday\, March 28th \nTIME: 8 AM until late afternoon (we may finish earlier) \nLOCATION: \nLa Prada Church of Christ \n2724 La Prada Dr \nMesquite\, TX 75150 \n  \nParking \nThere is limited parking at the church.
