Bringing A New Day To Dallas!
December 04, 2021

We are focused on electing leadership in tune with centrist values of public safety, fiscal responsibility, and maintenance and repair of our streets and City assets. Our police are under attack and in turmoil, depleting the numbers of first responders. Our infrastructure is crumbling. Dallas desperately needs a new day. This did not happen overnight and will not be fixed overnight.  We are just beginning! And it begins with ALL OF US!

We Texans Must Fix Our Own Border Security.
December 04, 2021

Texas is being invaded. This term isn't bombast, just a plain unvarnished statement of fact. Knowing that thousands are attracted by jobs, free education and the chance to live the American Dream are so great that many will come.  Americans are forced to absorb these costs. The invasion is being directed by human smugglers and drug cartels. We're being invaded but there is no federal response or even acknowledgment of the invasion.

The Biden Administration Can't Handle the Supply Chain Mess
December 03, 2021

Our supply chain is not only a mess, the causes are systemic and deeply entrenched. The mess was decades in the making. There is no simple silver bullet that will make the mess simply go away. But, herein, is another problem. We simply don't think the Biden administration has the desire or the ability to work on a solution. We really don't think they care.

Inflation Impacts Working People
December 02, 2021

Inflation is a cruel regressive tax, particularly hurting ordinary working people and their paychecks. Inflation increases the cost of food, fuel, housing and all other goods we must buy to live. Our paychecks can purchase less and less in every pay period.

Republicans Are Proudly the Party of Parents.
November 11, 2021

If ever there was a silver lining in the last 18 months, the stripping of our liberties was exacerbated and exposed the agenda of the liberals. Forty years ago, if children were taught racism, it wasn't hard to figure out where they learned it:  at home.  Imprisoning children and parents in their homes, they were forced to attend school via Zoom meetings, parents were forced to work from home. It enabled parents to overhear what some teachers were spoon-feeding to their children.

Joe Biden's Energy Policy Failure Is Reflected At the Gas Pump
November 10, 2021

Wasting no time in poking a finger in the eye of the prior administration, Joe Biden shut down the Keystone Pipeline project and single-handedly destroyed tens of thousands of well-paying jobs. With that, the petroleum independence the US has never seen before ground to a halt and the Biden Administration began again sending billions of petroleum dollars to countries who despise the US.

Liberty Enlightening the World
November 02, 2021

An icon of freedom and of the United States, the statue is of a colossal robed female figure representing Liberty, derived from Libertas. A broken chain lies at her feet. She is bearing a torch in her upraised right hand and, in her left arm, a "tabula ansata" (a tablet evoking the law) inscribed with the date of the American Declaration of Independence, July 4, 1776.

We Flipped It! The Texas House Just Got Redder.
November 02, 2021

Republican John Lujan flipped HD 118 in a Special Election Runoff victory! By the end of the night, the result was a 2.4 percentage-point victory that left Republicans exhilarated in winning a historically Democrat-held seat.  The district includes part of San Antonio and areas south and east of the city in Bexar County. Rep.-Elect Lujan called his victory part of a "big movement for conservatism" in the Hispanic community.  Texas HD 118 is in San Antonio.

Serious Systemic Attention Needed
November 01, 2021

The simple fact is congestion at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach is getting worse, not better. Their backlogs are growing. On average 29,000 containers arrive outside the Port of Los Angeles every day while only 18,000 are handled. Currently, there is about a 30-day backlog in the Port of Los Angeles alone and it is growing every day; we're not getting ahead of it. We don't think Biden even understands the problems much less can fix them.

Was It Just An Idea?
October 18, 2021

Was it just an idea? An idea that took hold within us. Each of us. Spurred us to action. To dream. To unite. To do more. To be more. A simple powerful idea. That government should be smaller and more accountable to the people.

We Have a New Website
October 18, 2021

We are building a new comprehensive website for the DCRP. This site was created using a powerful content management system (CMS) which manages not just the front-end presentation but also all the back-end functionality and workflow for the site. Since it is entirely standards-based, the site's theme can be "skinned" with any front-end design that is desired and retains all of its inherent backend functionality.
