This coming Sunday, April 16th, is the last date the Dallas County Republican Party can submit its Election Judge assignments for the May 6th election cycle. After April 16th, any open Voting Center will be filled by the Dallas County Election Department without our approval.
April 16th is our last chance to fill these positions with Republicans.
We still need additional Election Officers, both Presiding Judges and Alternate Judges, for Election Day, May 6th.
If you are a Presiding Judge or Alternate Judge already scheduled for a Voting Center, thank you for your service. You are a vital part of the election process.
If you are not already an Election Worker, we are recruiting new Presiding Judges and Alternate Judges who will step up and serve this important civic duty.
You will be trained and these are all paid positions. You will be committing to a required 5-hour training, an optional 2-hour training and one long work-day on Saturday, May 6, 2023 for Election Day Voting for local elections.
We have already assigned Election Officers to almost three-quarters of all of the Voting Centers in Dallas County. For the remaining quarter, we are assigning from our remaining pool of judges but also using the opportunity to recruit new judges. If you hurry, you can even select your location within your part of town.
