Election Worker Recommitment

Thank you for your past interest and/or service as an Election Worker for the DCRP in previous Dallas County Elections..

The November 7, 2023, Texas Constitutional Election is being planned and we are beginning to get our Party assignments for this election organized.

As we are required to do, we must ask for a recommitment from all Presiding Judges and Alternates Judges to confirm your willingness to work again. We have to do this for each election. We have made it easy as possible to confirm online for the November 7th Texas Constitutional Election at the link

Simply click on the link and complete the short online form. It will just take a minute and you will receive an onscreen confirmation as well as an e-mail copy.

Please note that we are working ahead of the Dallas County Elections Department. They do NOT yet have their final location list of Voting Centers or their training schedule. However, we can get your commitments out of the way early so we are ready to promptly complete scheduling as soon as DCED releases the list of Voting Center Locations. Since this will be a smaller elections, we know there will be fewer Voting Centers employed (just over 400 instead of the usual ~460) but we will know as soon as DCED releases their list. We assume that most of the locations that are used will be the same locations as used previously just fewer of them. So, we do expect at least some changes both in Early locations (there always are a few changes). We will complete our internal scheduling on the assumption that your previously scheduled location will be used again.

Once we receive DCED's final list of locations, we will complete your official scheduling and confirm it with you. If a change will be required because of a DCED location change, I will contact you ASAP to discuss any change.

We will give you priority for scheduling at your location for previously serving Judges unless you wish to change location.

Please note if you have never worked Early Voting and wish to do so, please contact Nancy Anderton first (contact information below) before calling DCED, so we can advise you. To work Early Voting, you have to be on the Dallas County Payroll System and that requires an appointment at DCED for you to fill out the paperwork necessary. You cannot work Early Voting or be assigned until you are on the payroll system.
