The Last Two Tickets

Summary

On the very last day possible, a number of volunteer workers were feverishly trying to finalize the seat arrangement for the sold out Annual DallasGOP Reagan Day Dinner featuring Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.  A call came in late in the afternoon on Friday March 3 asking if it was still possible to buy two VIP tickets.  This was not quite a normal request, it seems that the caller was a young man who heard about the event and wanted to bring his Mother.  Again, no such an unusual request, except that Arman Canatinia was just in town for business from Utah, and his Mother Aditi would be flying in from LasVegas. We were fortuntely able to accomodate them due to a last minute cancellation.

What a fabulous opportunity to be able to include such strong conservatives who will ultimately pay it forward and get others involved. This event made a lifelong impression on this young man.  Strangers are friends you just haven't met and these two became fast friends over a wonderful dinner.  Our volunteer David Wallace, at whose table they were assigned showed them what true Dallas hospitality is and why it is such a badge of honor to be able to say, "Hello, Welcome to Dallas, Texas!
