No Kings?

“Nothing so strongly impels a man to regard the interests of his constituents, as the certainty of returning to the general mass of the people, from whence he was taken, where he must participate in their burdens.” — 17 June 1788, George Mason, Virginia ratifying convention to the US Constitution

Greetings, y’all! What a great weekend it was, celebrating the 250th birthday of my United States Army and Flag Day.

It has been a really special month of June, going to Normandy with 25 college students, and jumping from a C-47 aircraft. When the US Army turned 200 years old, it was 1975, and I was just 14 years of age. It would be the following year when my dad, US Army Corporal Herman West, Sr., would issue his challenge to me to be the first military officer in our family, a US Army officer. Chances are I will not be around for the 300th Army birthday, but perhaps the legacy passed onto my two grandsons will have them reflecting upon their uniformed service to our nation.

Speaking of service to our nation, there were some useful idiots that decided to gather on our Army birthday, and Flag Day, to do a disservice to our Constitutional Republic. Ya know, the one the Army pledges “This We’ll Defend.” They gathered under the insidious moniker of “No Kings.” Well, duh, if these mindless lemmings studied American history, they would know that our very first General, and President, George Washington set the standard for America to reject monarchical rule. Then, resigned his Army commission and stepped down from being president after two terms. Also, the day our Constitution was signed, September 17, 1787, a Philadelphia socialite, Mrs. Powel, asked Benjamin Franklin a very poignant question that resonates today. She asked him if we have a monarchy or a republic. Franklin replied, “A Republic, if you can keep it.”

The oxygen thieves who gathered under the mantra of “No Kings,” including those right here in Dallas, and other locations in Texas, obviously are quite confused about the nature of tyranny. I would have to ask them why did they not take to the streets when the Biden-Harris autopen administration was mandating to the American people what type of shower head they could have, what type of stove they could have, what type of car they must drive, what type of dishwasher they could use, how much toilet water they could flush, which businesses could be open, and flooding our Republic with illegal immigrants . . . The list is long and exhausting.

See, in a Republic, individual rights, freedom, and liberties are fundamental. The progressive socialist leftists, Marxists, are attempting, once again, to deflect upon others their true intention. I mean what type of people tell you that your kids are not your own? What type of depraved mind mandates the dismembering of unborn babies, right up to birth, and even after birth advocates for their body mutilation and disgustingly refer to this as healthcare.

This so-called “No Kings” movement is an oxymoronic, emphasis on moron, a joke. It is funded by leftist billionaires, and even has support from the Chinese Communist Party. Sadly, the Democrats are relegating themselves to another failure. Once again throwing something against the wall and seeing if it sticks. What is unfortunate is that we have “Republicans” here in the state of Texas who delusionally ally with these same types of individuals and desire to share power with them. Talk about stuck on stupid, what is even worse are the folks who support, and will defend, this deranged practice.

And, can someone answer how Islamic jihadist centers in Texas received $13 million in taxpayer funding through grants?

English political philosopher, John Locke, is the father of Natural Rights Theory, which confronted the ruling belief of his day, Divine Rights Theory. Thomas Jefferson fashioned the Declaration of Independence upon the former. Leftists today seek to reestablish the latter.

The opening quote comes from Virginian statesman George Mason. It was never the intent of our Founding Fathers to have a political elite class. It was supposed to be about citizen-legislators and servants, representatives of the people. I mean, really, how many years was Joe Biden in politics? Instead, we have devolved into a state of apathy where people enter into political office and ensuingly become millionaires. Barack Obama and Jasmine Crockett come to mind. Truthfully, this issue of an elitist political class is a bipartisan issue, as we see less focus on the interests of the everyday citizen, as opposed to self, special, and unconstitutional ideological interests ruling the day.

The “No Kings” movement, if one could call it that, makes no sense. There are no kings in America, and never have been. Taking to the streets to protest the restoration of American national sovereignty and the removal of criminal illegal immigrants is even more nonsensical. But what is most hilarious is that these chuckleheads want a ruling system of governance that is centrally controlled and usurps individual, Constitutional rights. Leftists seek to undermine our Second Amendment right, which is how we originally stood up and deposed the despotic rule of King George III. The “No Kings” mobocracy wants to institute their totalitarian domination and control. That is why they try to erode our Second Amendment right at every opportunity.

My response to “No Kings” is simple: no to progressive socialist Marxists and Islamic jihadists who embrace rule over governing. No to Republicans who believe you can share Texas, or America, with these folks.

Steadfast and Loyal.
