Dallas County Republican Party Logo Usage Policy

The official Dallas County Republican Party (“DCRP”) logo and all related trademarks are the exclusive intellectual property of the Dallas County Republican Party.
Authorization Required
Any use of the DCRP logo by precinct chairs, candidates, volunteers, vendors, or any other individual or organization requires prior written approval from the DCRP Permanent Chair (or her designee). This includes, but is not limited to, yard signs, digital graphics, social media posts, flyers, banners, apparel, buttons, websites, and any other promotional or marketing materials.
Political Advertising Disclosure
All materials using the DCRP logo that qualify as political advertisements under Texas Election Code must contain the required disclosure language (e.g., “Paid for by the Dallas County Republican Party” or “Authorized and paid for by [Candidate/Committee Name]”).
Prohibited Uses
The DCRP logo may not be used in any manner that:
- Implies official Party endorsement without explicit approval.
- Misrepresents the Party’s positions or values.
- Could reasonably be considered misleading, defamatory, or contrary to Republican principles.
Requests for Approval
To request use of the logo, please submit your proposed design and intended use to the DCRP Chair at least 72 hours in advance. Approval is at the sole discretion of the DCRP Chair.
Consequences of Unauthorized Use
Unauthorized use of the DCRP logo may result in a demand to immediately cease and desist, removal of materials at the user’s expense, and possible disciplinary action by the County Executive Committee, up to and including censure or removal from Party positions.
By using the DCRP logo, you agree to abide by this policy. Questions regarding logo usage should be directed to the DCRP Chair.
