“Texas, Our Texas”
| “Texas, Our Texas” |
| Greetings, first, I want to encourage each and everyone of you to keep our men and women in harm’s way in your prayers. After some 47 years, America has finally taken on the world’s most evil regime, the islamic republic of Iran. Over all these many years, countless Americans have lost their lives and been maimed due to the support of islamic terrorism by the rule of the ayatollahs and mullahs, that is now coming to an end…we all pray. There can be no compromise, appeasement, acquiescence, or negotiation with a totalitarian tyrannical theocratic rule bent on destruction. Once again, our American military seeks to extend the branch of liberty to those who have been oppressed, and wantonly murdered. That leads to right here in Texas where tomorrow is the 190th anniversary of Texas declaring its independence from a tyrant. Yes, March 2, 1836 the Republic of Texas was born, and the following day will now be our 2026 midterm primary election day. What we do on tomorrow will be a reflection upon the sacrifices that were made 190 years ago, considering the siege of The Alamo was going on at this time. How shall we honor that memory? How shall we continue to give increased devotion to those men, 190 years ago, who were willing to, and gave the last full measure of devotion to, and for, Texas? Let me offer my sincere regards and thanks to all the Republican election judges, clerks, poll watchers, poll workers who have made the 2026 primary election possible. They work long hours over these two weeks and commit themselves in preparation for much longer. A special hat tip to Susan Cumby, Lee Jenkins who with their team put together our staffing of polling locations, ballot board, and central count. This primary election in Dallas County has been different because the Dallas County GOP Executive Committee voted to have a non-joint primary along with precinct level voting on election day. Republicans should have more control over their primary election process, especially since we do not have closed primaries in Texas. We should not be afraid or intimidated by leftists when it comes to selecting our November general election team. By the end of Tuesday evening, we will know who most of our Texas GOP team will be for the November election. There will certainly be a couple of runoff contests at least. However, when the sun comes up on Wednesday morning, our commitment must be to getting our team elected. As Texan Gene Kranz would say, “failure is not an option”, certainly so if we are to honor the memory of those who gave us Texas, our Texas. God bless you Texas and keep you brave and strong, that you may grow in power and worth throughout the ages long…. The Marxist leftists do not believe in our Judeo-Christian faith heritage God, only the power of government and your being collectively subjugated to their will, their agenda. This is what the 2026 midterm election is all about, and shamefully so, these leftists share that same sentiment with the islamists who support an evil theocratic regime, and islamic terrorism, like Iran. In closing, when I hear people complain about standing in line to vote, it disgusts me. Right now, there are young men and women working the deck of an aircraft carrier, standing watch, flying dangerous combat missions all so you can vote. I am sure one to two hours to do so is the least that can be done to honor their service, sacrifice, and commitment. Steadfast and Loyal. |
