Eaun Blackman for Richardson ISD

Euan Blackman is a dedicated classroom teacher and servant leader who has taught physics, chemistry, and biology in public schools for 23 years. His priorities are strong curriculum, open more doors to AP, dual credit, CTE certifications, and honors programs, deliver a fiscal conservative approach, more recess and play in elementary school to spark joy and creativity, align Special Education instruction with goals tailored to student needs.

Mike Song for Carrollton City Council, Place 4

Raised in Carrollton, Mike Song experience includes business development, project management, and entrepreneurship.  Mike serves as the Vice President of the Korean American Chamber of Commerce in North Texas. Mike’s mission is to preserve Carrollton’s unique character while serving as a breath of fresh air, bringing new perspectives, thoughtful problem-solving, and steady leadership for the future.

Daisy Palomo for Carrollton City Council, Place 6

Councilwoman Daisy Palomo is running for a second term.  Daisy encompasses executive consulting, entrepreneurial, corporate, and community service experience as a council member and Mayor Pro Tem.  

Luis Palomo for Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD

Luis has been involved for over 25 years in education, providing every student the opportunity to succeed. Luis and his wife Daisy (“Driving Miss Daisy”) are committed to community service. If elected, he will work together with the Board to boost parent involvement, ensure safe campuses, promote positive learning environments and increase individual student outcomes.

Winnetka Smith-Alford for DISD School Board District 2

Winnetka Smith-Alford is a community leader, facilitator, and advocate committed to strengthening schools and supporting the success of every child in Dallas Independent School District District 2.  District 2 serves Preston Hollow, Lakewood, and Oak Lawn. Her mission is simple, to have safe schools and strong kids.
