The debate over Texas education is no longer just about textbooks, test scores and funding.
It now touches some of the most contentious issues in America: What should students be taught? Who controls curriculum? Where is the line between education and ideological advocacy? How should schools confront antisemitism and extremism? And how much say should parents have?
We’ll examine DEI and “woke” ideology, Islamism, antisemitism, political indoctrination, parental rights, curriculum transparency, school-board governance and accountability — and what these debates could mean for the future of Texas education.
Early voting in Texas begins the very next morning — Monday, October 19.
Attendees will hear perspectives from the federal, state, school-board and parent levels on the policies being debated, what families are seeing firsthand, and who has authority over the decisions affecting Texas classrooms.
Congressman Pat Fallon has represented Texas’ 4th Congressional District since 2021 and currently serves on the House Armed Services, Intelligence, and Oversight committees. He previously served in both chambers of the Texas Legislature and as an officer in the U.S. Air Force.
And this won’t simply be speakers talking at the audience.
If you’re a parent, grandparent, educator, community leader — or simply care about what the next generation is learning — this is a conversation worth hearing firsthand.
