Bring Clean Water to Sand Branch
August 15 @ 8:00 am - 11:00 am

Sand Branch is a historic Freedmen’s settlement (freedom colony) in unincorporated Dallas County, about 15–20 miles southeast of downtown Dallas near Seagoville. Founded in 1878, it has never had municipal running water. Residents almost entirely depend on donated bottled water for drinking, cooking, and bathing.
The Dallas County Republican Party and South Dallas Candidates are stepping up to help:
💧 Distribute weekly bottled water
📝 Get residents registered to vote
Join us for a Bottled Water + Voter Registration Drive at the local church.
We need:
• Cases of bottled water donations
• Volunteers to register voters and hand out water
How to donate water:
💧 Bring cases to the Sand Branch event on 8/15 or 8/22 (8–11 AM)
💧 Or drop off directly at the Dallas County Republican Party Headquarters
We also need volunteers to help register voters and distribute water.
Come stand with Sand Branch. Donate, volunteer, or share this post. Let’s make sure our neighbors have water and a voice.
