Chairman's Monday Message

Greetings, everyone. It is not an overblown statement to assert that tomorrow, Tuesday, November 5, 2024, will decide the path forward for our Constitutional Republic, and potentially the world. If America falls to the ideological agenda of the progressive socialist, Marxist, left it will be a steep hill to overtake. We have witnessed what less than four years of this idiocy has meant for our nation. Now a person, currently the Vice President, who has openly stated that her values have not changed and that she cannot think of anything she would do differently — no regrets — desires to continue this madness? To invoke the words attributed to Albert Einstein, “The pure definition of insanity is to continue to do the same thing and expect different results.”

I want to commend so many of you here in Dallas County, constitutional conservatives, who have already voted in the early voting phase. Your mission now is to ensure that your friends, who have not voted, get to the polls . . . unless your friends want to continue this idiocy. We have witnessed record early voting turnout and thanks for answering the call. As well, a hearty Bravo Zulu, to our election judges, clerks, poll watchers, and poll workers who have been on the front lines reporting any and every questionable action they have witnessed. If you have been following our reports, press releases, and posts, you will see that there have been countless issues since the opening day of early voting on October 21st.

Please, continue to report what you see to our hotline and to our Rapid Response Team, who are doing a phenomenal job collating this information. It is our intent that after the election, these actions, whether mistaken, purposeful, intentional, and nefarious, be rectified and serve as a basis for more election systems reform during the 89th legislative session.

This brings me to the critical point: yes, I do expect a victory for individuals rights, freedoms, and liberties on November 5th, but that is not the end. Let us enjoy that moment of success, savor it, but then, immediately transition to focus on follow-up actions. One of those, as mentioned, is to demand election systems reform in Texas. We can ill afford to have 254 mini-fiefdoms of election standards, processes, procedures, and protocols. There must be a common foundation, and expectation, driven by law. And I am one who believes that Texas Election Code, law, needs to be rewritten to preclude much of the questionable actions we have experienced here in Dallas County, and elsewhere in the Lone Star State.  A simple example would be not allowing homeless individuals to register to vote, and clarifying the Limited Use ID cards into law.

As well, we must refocus our efforts on local level elections, very critical as the City of Dallas charter amendments effort, Dallas HERO, has evidenced. The arrogance of officialdom at the local level of governance must be defeated. The DCRP will be actively engaged and involved in the municipal elections of the first Tuesday of May in 2025. After those elections, yes, summer break, then we must prepare for the next midterm elections of 2026, which begin with the GOP primary in March 2026.

What I want everyone that reads this missive to know, and hopefully share, is that we do not rest on laurels. Those of you who have awakened in this election cycle must stay awake, engaged, and involved. You can no longer sit back and trust that elected officials have your back and will do what is right. And understand, the progressive socialist left is not just going to go away.

So, I want to convey my sincere appreciation to all of you who have stepped outside your comfort zone and took a position on freedom’s rampart. You cannot lay down your shield, sword, spear, and helmet . . . the opposition is still lurking about. I truly believe we shall see a horrific scorched earth policy enacted by the Biden-Harris administration on their way out.
