The Battle Lines Are Drawn
Greetings, everyone! The Democratic National Committee convention is over. Someone needed to tell them that they have been in charge the past three-and-a-half years. Regardless, we have two very distinct directions in which the country can head. I do find it humorous that Kamala Harris wants us to believe that she will start solving these issues on Day One as President . . . issues that were created under her. Excuse Ma’am, but you can do something about it now! Talk about the arsonist coming to put out the fire that they started.
If there was one theme that permeated the DNC convention — besides dismembering unborn babies in the womb up until birth, infanticide, renamed as “reproductive rights” — it was the Democrats’ attempt to make us believe that they wanted to solve the illegal immigration issue, invoking the arsonist metaphor again. Here is a bit of wisdom for Republicans going forward: stop falling for the Lucy and the moving football trick, Charlie Brown. Once again, Republicans seeking out the unicorn of bipartisanship, got fooled into promoting a leftist plan that would have not rectified the Biden-Harris illegal immigration, open borders issue.
If you recall, early on in 2021, Joe Biden issued some 90+ executive orders that deconstructed our border security, which had been widely successful in the Trump administration. We did not need a new piece of legislation, one that would have allowed 5000 illegal immigrants entry each day. We needed to have Joe Biden and his wingman, Kamala Harris, reverse those executive orders. Too easy huh?
Last week at the Dallas County Republican Party Executive Committee meeting I shared some comparative numbers on this illegal immigration issue.
We have more single military-age illegal immigrant males in our country than the active duty end-strength of our US Army, now. The number of single military-age male illegals far surpasses the numbers for our active duty US Marine Corps, which is at World War I numbers. There are some 30,000-35,000 single military-age male Chinese who have been given illegal entry into our Republic.
We have more of the so-called “gotaways” — illegals we have no tracking for — than we do our entire US military.
We have lost 250,000 Americans, in the three-and-a-half years of the Biden-Harris administration, to fentanyl, a chemical manufactured in China, shipped to the transnational narco-criminal terrorists, the cartels, and transported across our porous, open border. In comparison, we lost 58,000 troops in the entire Vietnam War and 37K troops in the entire Korean War. But again, we are told the border is secure.
Tens of thousands of unaccompanied minor children have been lost by the Biden-Harris administration. We are now aiding and abetting human and sex trafficking, slavery.
Countless numbers of terrorists, mainly Islamic jihadists, have been released into our nation. We did not hear anyone at the DNC convention talk about that. But, fear not, Kamala Harris gives us hopey-changey joy.
Last week at the DNC convention, even Bill Clinton, a champion for women’s rights, opined about how terrible our economic situation is, and we often heard how people cannot afford groceries, rent, paying their mortgage or buying a home, and gasoline. Well, ya can’t blame Donald Trump for the faults, failures, and shortcomings of the Biden-Harris administration whose insidious policies brought all this about . . . and the answer, uh, government price and rental controls.
Bill Clinton also talked about how we need to reestablish peace and not pursue wars. Uh, dude, Iran was bankrupt under Trump, Russia did not invade Ukraine, and little Rocketman was silent. We had no knowledge of the Houthis. Hamas wasn’t invading and murdering Israelis. Hezbollah was not firing rockets and missiles into Israel. This is all a result of the Biden-Harris administration.
Crime is up. The education of our children is down, but indoctrination is up. So, the question going forward into this election cycle is simple: what are you voting for?
Me? It is simple: I am voting for constitutional governance and the preservation of our Constitutional Republic and the restoration of the rule of law. If you prefer more of the chaos, confusion, and morass of the Party of the Jackass, feel free. It is your right to be “stuck on stupid” and vote for that. However, I will be all over Dallas County encouraging voters to take the red pill and escape the matrix of mindless lemmings who enjoy a certain person’s laugh.
This is a defining moment, and it is not just about the top of the ticket, as I have previously articulated. This is voting the entire ballot for those who would restore the right relationship between the individual citizen and the institution of government, whether federal, state, county.
This is not only about what you will vote for, but what will your vote mean for your children and grandchildren? I recently received a text from a young man that was a former cadet of mine at Kansas State University back in 1991-1992. He said to me, “Colonel, I just don’t think I will vote for either Trump or Harris, neither of them are likable.” I had to remind him that on the day he took his oath of office as an Officer in the US Army, he took an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States. It is not an oath to a person, or a political party. It is an oath that has no statute of limitations. I counseled him to vote for his commitment to the Constitution and what is the best path to maintaining it.
I also reminded him of a song by one of my favorite rock bands, Rush, called “Freewill.” The refrain to that song was, “You can choose not to decide, but you still have made a choice.”
The battle lines are drawn, the stage has been set. Vote for our Constitution and the protection of individual rights, freedoms, and liberties. It ain’t a hard decision folks.
Steadfast and Loyal.
