Republican Co-Judge

We could use your help for staffing Election Day Voting Centers as a Republican Co-Judge or Clerk. The list below shows all currently open assignments.  There may be one in YOUR neighborhood!

Will You serve as an Election Day Co-Judge or Clerk in the Republican Primary?

For the first time, we are running a "Joint Primary" where both the Republican Primary and the Democrat Primary will be conducted at the same table in the same physical facility (Voting Center.) Each party will be represented by a "Co-Judge" of equal rank and authority. The Republican Co-Judges will adjudicate Republican Primary Voters and the Democrat Co-Judge will adjudicate Democratic Voters. All Election Clerks will be equally divided between Republicans and Democrats and will jointly serve all voters regardless of party.  There will be one check-in table with all clerks mixed.  When the Clerk turns the E Poll Book to the Voter, they will be offered a screen that has two boxes:  Republican or Democrat.  It is there that you will declare your party affiliation 

Using the traditional terminology, of a general election, you are currently the Alternate Judge in your Voting Center and are the highest-ranking Republican Election Officer that will be present. For the upcoming Joint Primary, using the new terminology, we are asking you to become the Republican Co-Judge for your Voting Center.  As Co-Judge, you will be tasked with returning the "B" thumb drive to the Dallas County Elections Department's Central Count.
